Booking Terms and Conditions

1. Reservation Duration

• All reservations are allocated a dining time of 2 hours.

2. Reservation Holding Period

• Tables will be held for a maximum of 15 minutes from the reservation start time. If guests have not arrived within this period, the table may be released to other customers.

3. Confirmation of Bookings

• Bookings for groups larger than six people are confirmed only upon receipt of a deposit by the Restaurant.

• Changes to booking details must be made at least 48 hours before the booking date. Changes will only take effect once acknowledged by the Restaurant.

4. Group Set Menu Requirement

• Bookings of 12 or more people are required to dine from the group set menu.

5. Deposit Requirements

• A deposit is required immediately to secure the booking, and payments must be cleared funds at the time of booking.

• Bookings of 4 or more people must pay a deposit, which can be made via bank transfer or phone payment.

• The total bill must be settled in full on the day of the booking, with the deposit deducted from the final bill. Deposits for no-shows are non-refundable.

6. Minimum Spend and Payment

• The minimum spend for bookings is agreed upon at the time of booking and includes VAT but excludes a 12.5% optional service charge (applicable to large parties).

• No credit facilities are available, and all customers booking for Fridays and Saturdays must order at least one main meal.

• Queries or complaints about the bill must be submitted in writing within two business days of the booking date.

• In cases of unforeseen events (e.g., pandemics or force majeure), the Restaurant is not liable for upfront payments but may offer an option to reschedule.

7. Non-Payment of Deposit

• Failure to pay the required deposit in cleared funds may result in the cancellation of the booking without liability to the Restaurant. Any associated costs may also be charged to you.

8. Cancellations

By You:

• For cancellations:

• Groups of up to six: Notify the Restaurant at least two days in advance.

• Larger groups and private bookings: Notify the Restaurant at least seven days in advance.

• Late cancellations are non-refundable.

By the Restaurant:

• The Restaurant may cancel bookings without liability due to circumstances beyond its control (e.g., fire, equipment failure, staff disputes, or orders by public authorities).

9. Final Numbers for Reservations

• Final headcount must be confirmed in writing at least two days before the booking date.

• Charges apply for the full number of guests booked if changes are not made at least two business days prior.

• The Restaurant will endeavour to accommodate increases in guest numbers but cannot guarantee availability or service.

10. Menu Selection

• Groups larger than six must choose a uniform menu for all guests, with accommodations made for dietary requirements.

• Dietary requirements should be communicated when the menu is selected, and final menu and wine choices must be submitted five days prior to the booking.

• The Restaurant reserves the right to suggest alternatives if menu items or wines become unavailable.

11. Allergies and Intolerances

• Notify the Restaurant of any allergies or intolerances prior to ordering.

• Guests with severe allergies should be aware that, despite precautions, cross-contamination may occur. Any bespoke orders are consumed at the guest’s own risk.

12. Guest Conduct

• Guests are expected to behave lawfully and avoid causing nuisance or endangering licenses held by the Restaurant.

• Illegal activities, including drug use, betting, or gaming, are prohibited.

• The Restaurant reserves the right to refuse entry or eject guests due to inappropriate behaviour.

13. Dress Code

• Smart casual attire is required.

14. Limitation of Liability

• The Restaurant’s liability for personal injury or death due to its negligence is not limited.

• Guests are responsible for any damages caused to the Restaurant’s property by their actions or negligence.
